To share scientific knowledge with scientists and health professionals, about the innovative approach on “nurturing healthy eating habits in children”, the Danone Institute International organizes several conferences. The objective of thoses symposia is to present this evidence and experience-based multifaceted approach for empowering families to nurture healthy eating habits among children.
Dr. Jess Haines, Associate Professor at the University of Guelph, Canada, is awarded the Danone International Prize for Alimentation (DIPA) for her groundbreaking research into promoting sustainable healthy eating among families, through novel, interdisciplinary research and knowledge mobilization. The Danone Institute International was in Buenos Aires for the 21st International Congress of Nutrition, in October 2017 and organized a symposium on “The role of family in nurturing healthy eating habits in children”. The speaker’s presentations are available online for download.
