In 2025, Danone Institute embarked on a new chapter to reshape the narrative of aging.
After more than 30 years of advancing knowledge in food and nutrition, Danone Institute is entering a new phase that builds on its rich legacy and looks ahead with renewed ambition. This new phase is dedicated to closing food and nutrition gaps to foster healthy aging across the lifespan.
DANONE INSTITUTE IS COMMITTED TO
BRIDGING FOOD
AND NUTRITION GAPS IN ADULTS
TO ADD YEARS TO HEALTH.
This silent evolution during adulthood is often overlooked until health issues emerge, missing key opportunities to positively impact health through food and nutrition
From infancy through childhood and during medical conditions,
Nutritional needs are carefully monitored
As we transition into adulthood,
our nutritional needs continue to evolve over lifespan
This silent evolution during adulthood is often overlooked until health issues emerge, missing key opportunities to positively impact health through food and nutrition
By uncovering the subtle shifts in adult diet & nutrition, and highlighting the often-overlooked gaps that emerge over time, we can contribute to the development of nutritional strategies that act as powerful levers to extend healthspan and support healthy longevity.
OUR VISION
We believe that food and
nutrition can help
add years to health
for everyone as they age
OUR MISSION
We mobilize and connect local networks to foster scientific dialogue and research, driving global impact on health span through food and nutrition – at scale
OUR RESEARCH
We aim to bridge the knowledge-action gap by building consensus around existing science (scientific consolidation e.g. literature reviews, roundtables, conferences) and funding new research through targeted grants and awards.
OUR VISION
We believe that food and nutrition can help add health to years for everyone as they age
OUR MISSION
We mobilize and connect local networks to foster scientific dialogue and research, driving global impact on health span through food and nutrition – at scale
OUR IMPACT
We aim to amplify local research agendas and inform future nutrition and health guidelines to support healthier lifespan.
A RENEWED
GOVERNANCE
To enhance international collaboration and increase its global impact, the Danone Institute is proud to announce the creation of its Global Scientific Board. This new board brings together scientific expertise and experience from the Danone Institute’s network, along with leading global experts, to create a multidisciplinary, cross-border community that will help guide the Institute’s research agenda.
