Nutrition Leadership Programs

Around the world, many foundations like Danone Institutes organize every year some programs about Nutrition Leadership. The aim is to develop skills of Management, Communication, Politics, Leadership, Team Building and emphasis is placed on the role of nutrition and sciences in society.

These intensive training programs are designed for individuals who have experience in nutrition or related subjects. Preference is generally given to final year PhD students, postdoctoral fellows and applicants with similar working experience in nutrition field.
To date, several hundreds of scientists have already benefited from the trainings they received at the Nutrition Leadership Programs since the first creation.

Danone Institute International aims at promoting existing Leadership Nutrition Programs and the development of an active network with new participants and Alumni, which can help to create international approaches in nutrition and health.

Danone Institutes are not-for-profit entities which link scientists involved in human nutrition with health and education professionals. They support nutrition research programs and provide diet and nutritional information including: information on eating behaviors, dietary guidelines, nutrition events and nutrition organizations. The Institutes focus particularly on, Nutrition and child development, early childhood nutrition and childhood obesity prevention.
