DI BELGIUM- Influence on eating habits in early life
Danone Institute Belgium is preparing its annual symposium on "Influences on eating habits in early life", which will take place in Brussels on 18 October 2008. It will be developed in five parts ranging from the importance of senses, the metabolic syndrome, to practical and psychological aspects.
DI SPAIN- 2008 intake of Grande Covian Scholl of Nutrition
The sixth annual training course of Grande Covian School of Nutrition was conducted from 28 July to 1 August 2008 under the title “Food and health: a critical vision”.
DI USA- Featured in Nutrition Today Journal
A history of the Dannon Institute US will be published in the July/August 2008 issue of the journal Nutrition Today.  The article will highlight the accomplishments of the Dannon Institute in its first ten years.
“Gut, Fat, Iron and Brain: Where are we?”
Danone Institute International is organising a symposium on “Gut, Fat, Iron and Brain: Where are we?” on the first day of the 3rd World Congress of Paediatrics, Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition to be held in Iguaçu, Brazil, from 17–20 August 2008.
DI CZECH REPUBLIC- Upgrade of the healthy living programme for children
A new website www.vyzivahrou.cz aims to appeal children, teachers and parents. Danone Institute Czech Republic has since received dozens of orders for this educational program, mainly from primary schools.
DI ITALY – Training courses in Paediatric Nutrition
In June and July, Danone Institute Italy organised three professional training courses in Paediatric Nutrition. Two one-day courses were held in Rome and Milan, and the third, a two-day course, took place in Milan in the presence of 60 paediatricians.
