The Breakfast project
In collaboration with the Israeli Ministry of Health, the Breakfast Project has been providing 1,230 Arab and Jewish children from underprivileged neighbourhoods in south Jaffa and Tel Aviv with a nutritious breakfast every morning for the last three years.

Danone Institute International is organising a symposium on “Gut, Fat, Iron and Brain: Where are we?” on the first day of the 3rd World Congress of Paediatrics, Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition to be held in Iguaçu, Brazil, from 17–20 August 2008.

DI USA Recognizes Excellence in Nutrition throught two Awards
The Dannon Institute presented two awards recognizing excellence in the field of nutrition on April 6, 2008 at the Experimental Biology meeting in San Diego, California. Both awards are administered through the American Society for Nutrition and include monetary prizes for their recipients.
